Chris Ackerman Poker Tourney: Photos

I just happened to catch the Chris Ackerman Poker Tournament. This was definitely a treat for Lake Elsinore residents as the place was packed. Monster provided free drinks, Several riders performed some surprisingly dangerous looking tricks in a cramped parking lot. Sadly enough, I don't even know who was riding that night.

Chris Ackerman was injured several years ago and is now a quadriplegic. Even with this tragic injury he is still very much a badass. He's a much stronger man than I. If you would like to contact him or donate please visit his site or email him.

Patches goes big

May, 20, 2007. A day that will live in infamy.

Patches succesfully cleared the largest jump at The Farm's track. Jumping roughly thirty feet, and into the record books. This feet was accomplished on a quad that was made for a much larger man.

Ocotillo run

200 CCs of pure 80's Japanese fury powered this trip. A two day stay in the desert was all that was needed to learn the art of the XT. From Pole line to Pumpkin patch, I saw it all, and now you can too!

Bullhead/Oatman run

My first time going on a decent distance trail ride. Bullhead city to Oatman is a moderately easy ride. The fire trails and roads were surprisingly well maintained. The old rust bucket was put to it's max, and begged for mercy. Thankfully, we made it there, and back in one piece.

This march, while on an exciting business trip I found nothing other than direct evidence of a thorough bro infestation in Nevada. In a Bullhead parking lot I found this.
